08/01 - dat monster event

[ The moment all the chaos unleashed in the city, Souji was out the door. It didn't matter that he was still recovering from the car crashes (even if he got all healed up) or that he was still sleep-deprived. If he has the power to help out and to stop what's going on, he's not going to just sit around and wait for something to change. So with his new shovel companion (who insists on following him around), he hits the streets and starts hitting everything he sees. Sometimes it's with his Personas, Mada with fire and Kohryu with lightning, sometimes it's with his new shovel (whose face goes from :D to D: real quickly), and sometimes he's not even battling things and he's just trying to escort people or heal them up. It's definitely taking a toll on him, but he's used to pushing himself. ]

[ So Mako! Where are you in all this? Do you see Souji with his weird monsters being summoned? When he's healing the wounded? When he's beating the living shit out of this thing? Or when he's outnumbered by these guys? ]

[As Mako rounds the corner, he sees the monsters and stops in his tracks. His eyes get drawn to Souji just based on their placement, and he almost misses one of the non-friendly monsters coming his way. It's only at the last second that he leap frogs over it, landing on his feet.]
