I have a couple poems I can recommend........ I don't think they're too dense mostly.

Flirtation - freeform is fun, it's usually what you first read in school. the poem is kind of like when you want to kiss someone
Windchime - this one is really cute. it's loving the small things.
I Love You - this one's a little denser but it's still enough to understand, mostly about young love.
Lines Depicting Simple Happiness - this one rhymes a little, it's short and flirty too.

also I um. I read a lot of [bad fantasy smut] stuff like this in my downtime. I've always really liked it -- I'm not an expert by any means but at least I'm familiar with it.

I think as long as it comes from the heart it's romantic. but maybe that's just me
