Did you guys end up finding anything in there?

We found a crazy eyeless girl who had a raven that liked eating eyes. [Mako says after a long pause.] She wanted one of us to stay with her forever, and Sonia almost volunteered.

No, she didn't. [oh, yeah, he definitely sounds tired. He tries again with firebending, though Korra can't see it. It's weak, very weak.]

So…what happened? Did the girl just throw you guys out when none of you volunteered?

Well… yeah. We’re all here now, except for the guys I told you about earlier. So we must have been thrown out. [congrats on that non-answer, Mako. But at the same time, what he said wasn’t false, either.]

At least you guys are safe now. I know you said you haven't seen them around, but maybe they'll turn up just like the other people did.

Did you guys run into anything else before the girl?

No, just the riverway that ended up flooding. It was a pretty short trip, all things considered.

[well, that's that. She wasn't pushing, and he wasn't planning on elaborating]

I'm not sure what she was guarding, but it must've been important, even though she acted like she was really lonely. Who knows, maybe she actually was. I wasn't inclined to trust her.

I'm glad you guys didn't run into anything else. Usually the trips into the store are a lot worse.

[Looks like the message about the Store being weaker that they'd pieced together had been accurate after all.]

I wouldn't have trusted her either. Even if you agreed to stay, who knows if she'd actually let the rest of you go?

Yeah. Whatever she used though, it kind of reminded me of... I don't know, dark spirits? One minute she was just a girl, the next she had these extra appendages. If we ever did go back, we'd have to be on guard for them.

And don't let people volunteer to stay with her.
